This summer, we were thrilled to return to one of our favourite places on earth: the vibrant, eclectic, and ever-inspiring Shambala Festival in Northampton. For the third year running, we set up our stall at this incredible event, and it just keeps getting better every time! 💗✨
Shambala is like no other festival. From the colourful sets and creative installations to the soulful vibes, diverse music, and wonderful people, there’s an energy here that truly captivates us. It’s more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of life, art, and community. We love everything about it – the spirit, the sustainability, the innovation, and of course, the fantastic food! 🙌
This Year Was No Different – But Even Better!
As always, this year’s Shambala did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived and set up our stall, we felt the familiar buzz of excitement that makes this festival so special. We were delighted to see so many familiar faces from previous years – people who have become like friends and family to us. And we were equally excited to meet new visitors who stopped by our stall, drawn by the delicious rumours about our Sri Lankan-inspired dishes. 🤩🤩
We can’t thank you all enough for coming over, trying our food, and sharing in the Ceylon & Beyond experience. It was such a joy to hear your stories, share some laughs, and see so many happy faces enjoying our food. From our famous Masala Croquettes to the mouth-watering Kottu Roti, your enthusiasm made every dish we served feel extra special!
Creating Unforgettable Memories
This year, we truly felt like we were part of something magical. Shambala has a way of creating memories that last a lifetime, and we’re so grateful to have been a part of that magic once again. Whether it was the spontaneous dance-offs near our stall, the colourful costumes that brought so much character to the festival, or the late-night chats over chai and curry, every moment was filled with joy and connection.
And let’s not forget the closing ceremony – WOW! The drone display and fireworks were nothing short of spectacular! 🎆 We stood there in awe, completely mesmerised by the dazzling show in the night sky. It was the perfect end to an already unforgettable weekend, leaving us with hearts full and minds buzzing with inspiration.
The Cherry on Top of a Busy Festival Summer
Shambala was truly the cherry on top of our busy festival summer. After months of hard work, planning, and non-stop action, this event was the perfect finale to our season. It reminded us why we do what we do – to bring people together through the love of food, culture, and community. The energy, the love, and the positive vibes were everything we needed to fuel our passion and keep us going for another year.
